Specialist Insurance for 991.1 Carrera ?

Hi Everyone,
I am just in the process of buying my first Porsche ( deposit down😜) and I just wanted to ask if I need to get Insurance through a specialist sports car broker, or can I just use my “ normal” insurance company? Are there any benefits to a specialist policy?

No need for specialist insurance unless you plan on tracking.

Sadly the PCGB sponsors are ridiculously expensive so you may well be better with a mainstream insurer but make sure you are covered correctly and you’re happy. I have 3 cars covered with Admiral and they work for me.
