specialists in Cornwall

Hi Steve Try Crispin At Oak Tree Garage 01395 568498 Mr Crispin Manners. Oak Tree Garage. Newton Poppleford. Devon.EX10 0ER Charles

I can recommend a builder and a damn fine carpenter/cabinet maker/boat builder, not to mention a pretty good restaurant, but I don't think I've seen a Porsche in Cornwall for years.................

Double S Garage in Ashton between Penzance and Helston. Would describe them as enthusiasts rather than experts but they do a good job of looking after a few older Porsches.

I also recommend Collins of Probus. Fantastic family business. Tahe lots of time and trouble. Prepped my 3.2 for hillclimbing. Just done a great job on valve clearances. I have been with them over 10 years with all sorts of cars.

I use Gary and Neil Collins of Probus, have been for years. for both my 944 turbo and 944 s2 cab. Also very worth talking to is: Williams Crawfords at Saltash, if you haven't already done so look them up in Google, a very good team there, they know their stuff! i can also recommend very good wheel repair shop and bodywork specialists in the area. I've been down here since 2002 so I've done all the homework.

further to an earlier question about fun roads, look at the coast road from St Ives to LANDS END! single track, twisty, coastal road with stunning scenery, fantastic surface, loads of grip, a real challenge.

if you want videos and pictures on the move, maybe do it from Lands End to St Ives so the passenger gets the best view!unobstructed.

Not Cornwall, but worth the trip - SCS in Honiton; know their Porsches inside out, and bill sensibly as well.
