Anyone know of porsche independants (not main dealers) that have a fully working PWIS workshop tool near Glasgow ? Thanks

I use George as he is closest just get a fixed price before he starts .
Most seem to favour MT have used them years ago not the easiest place to get to and back Phone all for a price of work you want carried out
 
Hi Mike - what you doing up this neck of the woods?!

I'd put another vote in for Motortune in Shotts - they were excellent when I used them after getting the Boxster. Their garage is not that far from Shotts railway station and Peter's wife made us coffee and fed us biscuits before running us down to the station to catch the train - can't beat that for service!!!

The request is on behalf of a fellow Boxster owner not a PCGB member , but I'm working on him ! He is trying to get the rear DME coded to allow the PSE he has bought to activate from sport chrono (effectively doing the same as I did , with a PSE retro fit on a 2005 boxster). As per usual the OPC's are not interested and not authorised to do the work as there is no official TSB, so he needs to fins an independant with a PWIS , or a budding enthusiast.
 
Sounds good! For a minute I thought you were touring sunny (snowy!) Scotland and had issues with your car that needed sorted - phew! :)
