My understanding is radar detectors are legal to own and use in this country so what are considered the best device,s by members that have them fitted

I believe there was a test case sponsored by the manufacturer, so they are now considered 'legal'.

The road angel range seems popular. I had the snooper GPS based unit with a laser and radar bands. Radar is a pain as every shop door causes it to alarm, and the laser never detected a single thing. The GPS part was the most successful and useful, but this is easily done now by a TomTom with a subscription for safety cameras. This is my prefered option.

Grrr, and now my TomTom has gone kaput.

Works ok when plugged into the PC base unit, but won't charge. Crashes when booting on the car charger.

Probably the battery knackered :(

Sometimes think once you get the radar warning its too late

But thats just me

Road Angel supply TomTom with their Data
