Hello everyone,
A bit of a specific question in the hope that someone has come across this.
I'm in the process of moving my Pioneer GPS/stereo system from my old '88 944 to my new '86 944 turbo.
The old car had a bunch of wires bundled togeather in black tape running inside the plastic duct next to the passenger's seat (underneath the door on the chassis, next to the metal "944" plating). Inside that was a thin blue and red cable which carried the speed signal from the speed sensor in the rear to the comp. This was tapped into by the GPS to enhance precision.
The new 944turbo doesn't seem to have this bundle of cables on the passenger side. Instead there are two thicker red cables in the same place.
Any ideas where the speed signal wire runns in the '86 944 turbo?
Many thanks!
Alex
