Can any of you guys with un-refurbished 3.6 Turbo II speedlines help?

I need to know the sizes and offsets for front a rear which should be anodized either side of the valve on the outer rim (just in case any of you didn't know the valve was on the outer rim)

Appreciate your help

Are you talking a true "turbo 2" - ie a 964 - or do you mean a twin turbo?

The 964 turbo 2, three-piece Speedline wheel offsets are:

Front ET 52 (on a 8J rim) part number 965.362.136.00
Rear ET 61 (on a 10J rim) part number 965.362.140.00

If anyone knows, I'd be interested in knowing what the tollerances are for fitting 8 and 10 wheels with different offsets - i.e. could they cope with, say, ET 50 on front/rear without the need for spacers and /or rubbing on bodywork? There are plenty of after-market wheels out there, but few with the 52/61 ET combination.

Cheers

Thanks Mike

Looks like I bought a set by mistake.

ET50 on the front would only make the whole wheel stand out an extra 2mm on the hub....In other words place a 2mm spacer behind your existing wheel to see if they fit without rubbing. Is suspect they'll be fine.

Well I bought these on the understanding they were the "ultra rare" 64RS cup racey type size thingies but it would appear they are the 10s as fitted to the Turbo II 3.6. Oh well you live and learn.

Hi Lee

What are the sizes, offsets, part numbers and specs of the 964 RS wheels? Are they that rare?

Regards

The RS wheels are very rare. And magnesium is a tad delicate for the roads, soft and not as robust as aluminium, I am told.

Yoda....The fronts are similar but the rears are 9.5" not 10" and offsets are different. 9.5" were not used on anything else but the race cars so I reckon a lot were trashed.

I have the part numbers at the office but not here I'm affraid.

I've been looking for a spare set for a good number of years and not found anything so I guess yes they are hens teeth.
