Speedo fault 944

Could anyone give me some advice.
I have an intermittent fault with the speedo on my 89 944, What happens is it does not register any speed when turning left, but is ok when going straight of turning right or after hitting a bump.
I have check the gearbox connection and all seems fine, would there be something in the speedo head to look at possible a bad connection somewhere?

Hi and welcome to the best 944 forum .

Would check the loom near the steering column, the plugs to the instrument console and wherever the wires enter the body shell.
