944 man

If the Hall sensor on the transaxle is good, then Id suspect a poor contact behind the binnacle. Its likely to be at the dirty end though; seeing as thats where youve been working... Simon

Hi all. Thanks for the advice on driveshaft removal.
Now removed, repaired and working. The inboard end was almost dry and roller cage broken.
However........now the speedo doesn't work!!!
The speed sensor works on the LHS so I guess I may have done something. The 944 manual is as I have seen posted before only of use as a doorstop.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
I hadn'y driven it for 4 weeks and I missed her....so much
Cheers

Not at the binnacle.. I just cleaned the contacts at transaxle end and everything fine now. Just got to give her thorugh clean, claybar, wax before taking her to Northumberland in a copule of weeks, Cheers
