I am having great difficulty in sourcing a replacement speedo for my SC. The current one was returned from a repairer stating the gears were too chewed up to repair or replac, so having to look at a second hand alternative. Have tried Douglas Valley Breakers but no response yet. The only one on ebay was a ridiculous price!
Any suggestions?
Thanks

The guys at http://www.rpmtechnik.co.uk sent mine away to get fixed when I was having my engine build done. Don't know who it was, but they'll be able to tell you. If the person you're asking doesn't know, tell them to ask Ollie Preston. They replaced the chewed gears in mine and gave it a general recon. They also managed to do it without breaking the tamper seals on the speedo.

Many years ago I used a company called Speedy Cables. Can't recall where they were but very well known within classic car / historic Motorsport circles.

Thanks for the responses. I don't know who the garage sent it away to for repair, but I will try the contacts you have provided.
