Spoiler failure message

Apologies if this has been covered before but I unfortunately have got this alert on my turbo this weekend. I have done a bit of internet research and it makes for depressing reading. My spoiler appears to operate normally on manual operation but clearly isn't raising quickly enough when speed activation triggering the fault message. It may just be a micro switch but I am unclear if they can be replaced separate to the hydraulic system. Renntech has a link to a after market electronic ram system which reads well, has anyone on here fitted it please and if so would you recommend it. Can it be sourced over here? I would prefer to fit a permanent fix rather than replace with the same oem system if it's going to inevitably fail again. Finally and really for discussion purposes what are the views on simply getting the failure delete fix and carrying on given my car isn't tracked and will only hit activation speed occasionally on motorways? Thanks in advance.
