Spoiler Fault on '20 Cayenne Coupe

Hi, has anyone had the spoiler fault come up on their Cayenne Coupe? I've seen issues on the Panamera and my mechanic says that there is a known issue with the drains on these cars. They get blocked and then the motor for the spoiler fills up with water.
I raise this for 2 reasons:
1. I am interested to know if anyone has had the issue and whether they got some good will from Porsche. Apparently the replacment motor is £1,600!
2. Please check the drain holes on your spoilers and make sure they are clear. They should be checked when your car is serviced but with 2 year service intervals it looks like they can easily get blocked up.

Not a problem I’ve encountered personally, but a quick bit of googling tells me this isn’t an isolated problem, it seems a few owners have experienced a very similar problem, with varied reports on how helpful or not they feel their local dealerships have been.

I’m sorry I can’t be of more help but thank you for this timely reminder, (during these current stormy conditions) that these and the sunroof drains on our SUV models are something all owners need to be checking as part of our cleaning routines.

More info on how to do this can be found on the web and Youtube or if you're still unsure its worth checking with your local OPC or independant, I'm sure they will be more than happy to assist.
