Spoiler lift

How do yuo know whether the spoiler at the rear is deploying whilst travelling, I have not seen any warning lights, but due to its position I cannot se it when driviing. .. Image
 
There are no warning light telling you its up.. I can see mine in the rear view mirror (just). Mine is a C4...
 
I have C2 Cab, recently purchased, Jan 2002 car having covered only 18K, car is Guards Red and absolutely immaculate ..... what do they say about Porsche Smile
 
I have seen a kit on eBay that consists of a blank dash switch with an LED to show when the spoiler is raised. You have to wire it into the instrument cluster connectors, so its a bit of faffing around to fit it. Or you can rely on the dashboard warning light to show if it isn't coming up.
