Spoiler question

Does the electric rear spoiler pop up as soon as you hit 50mph, or do you have to be over that speed for so many second?

Cheers

On the 996 you have to get up to 75+mph then it works and i am sure it is when you slow down to 45mph that it goes back in. I think it is funny that you have to break the speed limit for it to work.

Hi Andy
The drivers manual states, the spoiler extends to its final position at a speed of ABOUT 80km/h (50mph )and returns yo its original position BELOW 15km/h ( 8 mph ). If the spoiler does not extend at speeds above 80 km/h ( 50mph ), a warning light will appear in the instrument cluster. Hope this helps
