Hi hope your all well
1, Is there a way of bypassing the spoiler so the dash light goes out?
Took the motor out today and noticed a micro switch issue also the teeth on the unit are shot! Thinking of getting a fixed wing, also need an MoT ASAP, a red warning light is a fail? Just wondering if theres a quick fix to get me by until I can sort properly.
thanks
stay safe and well

There is a 6 month extension on MoT expiry dates, so I wouldn't let that worry you too much. Having said that, the onus is on you to make sure the car is roadworthy.

The Porsche fixed wing kit includes a wiring adapter to eliminate the issue, but I guess as a temporary measure you could try bridging the 'up' microswitch so that it thinks it is always up, or remove the bulb from the instrument cluster for the spoiler warning light.

Hi Richard thanks for info, my MoT ran out on the 28th of March!! It’s 6 months from 30th
typical!
Bridging the up switch? there’s three micro switches in the unit, two are located together side by side, they have two wires each and one at the far end which has three wires. any ideas, all the best
