I was driving home tonight and all of a sudden the interior lights came on, doors unlocked and the front windows went down....... has anyone had this done to them?..... or do i need to have an exorcism done? :rolleyes:

There is an impact sensor in the front (and I think rear) bumper - in the event of an accident it will open the doors if locked and, from memory depending on how the car is configured, also open the windows - might be worth getting a specialist to check this isn't shorting out through wet / salt / corrosion etc.

Occaisionally my GT2 would do the same thing on a track day! [8|]

The only impact sensor I can see on the wiring diagram connected to the alarm system control unit is from the airbag control unit. Presumably the airbag didn't go off as you might have noticed that!

I'm sure there's a 'shunt' sensor - it's also in the seat belts for the tensioner - quite seperate from the airbag control system - from memory, the airbag unit needs 'more' than one input to trigger them [:D]
