Can someone tell me if the PSE when switched on is active between speed limits. For example between 30mph and 50mph

No idea, but I assume that it will be the same as on the 997 as this was driven by EU noise regulations etc - not sure if the bypass trick will work on the new model...
:)

I assume so, seems a pretty good noise all the way through the rev range, regardless of speed. [:D]

Unlike previous PSE efforts this one is on or off 24/7. Has no 20-40mph cut out as on the 987/997 cars

I'm not disputing what you're saying but if this was previously required to comply with EU drive-by regs, how can they not be required to do the same thing on the 991?

I assume that EU regs have got more stringent rather than less stringent...??!!
