On my previous car, a 1978 911 Targa I had 911 sc put on the bottom of the plates. On buying the 968 Sport I purchased a personal plate which I toodled off to my local Halfords to have made up. I was annoyed to find out that the law had changed and the only name they would put on the bottom of the plate was the supplier of the plate, ie. Halfords. Hence, I have now a personal plate with "Chapelgate" below the numbers.
If anybody knows of a company that will make up plates to my own spec. as in correct number plate but with 968 Sport on the bottom I would be interested in their website.

Better yet, scan it from a brochure. Here's one I made earlier, you should be able to download this from here, but I can mail you a copy of the file direct if needs be.

Perhaps I am a little slow but have you bought a 968Sport ?
If so what is it like - colour etc
Have you still got the Supersport - track day convinced you to sell it ?
P.S. 18 months ago I knew of 3 968s in Scotland - Phils red CS, white CS with M030 near Faslane and Hamish in Aberdeen - now how many are there?
Seriously need a Scottish 968 meet soon to count them all ...

Hope the house move went OK. Check out the thread "Colours" below for the full story of Neill's conversion, and his new striped car!
While you have been hibernating, the rest of us Scots have been out cornering the market in 968's!
Do I detect you volunteering to organise a meet? Good fellow!

If you could Private Mail me this information as well (the forum is not closed[]), then I would be grateful.
