Hi all
Have been a PCGB member for approx 3 years but new to the forum.
I would really apreciate any thoughts, views, comments re- my spec for my new Turbo. I am not sure about sports chrono as OPC have now informed me that the price of this has increased to £2700 I just think this is a massive jump, what should I do is it really worth this much?

911 Turbo - delivery sept.
Meteor Grey Metallic - this might change to Aqua Blue when OPC can provide a sample of the colour.
Black Leather.
Sunroof.
Adaptive sports seats.
Park Assist.
Red tail lights.
Sports Chrono Package ?
Heated seats.
Thicker three spoke steering wheel.
Porsche crest on head restraints.
Door entry guards in stainless steel.
I-Pod connect.

Spec looks good - se if you can get some of the custom leather added code cdz etc.....I can't believe that price for the chrono it must be wrong - wasn't it about £530 - I have specced the sport chrono plus icw pdk for my gen 2 C2S and that is only £729 - I suggest an error!!

Porsche can charge what they like for the option as it is a must have for resale. Also, overboost is fantastic fun [:D]

Welcome along Mike..

A good spec and I hope that it is a misprint on the cost.. its a clock on the dash and some software.. however in a Turbo as it does give the overboost I completely 100% agree with Alex, not that it will effect the price come resale time but more so that fact they will even want to take it off you.. for the Turbo its a must, something that for the money you pay - should be standard...
I suppose though that a new cost could include something the rest of us didn't get.. ???[&:]

Colour is very much a matter of personal taste, but I think Meteor looks very good in the metal. Understated maybe but still gives the car real presence.

If you are buying a Turbo then the cost of the Sport Chrono option pales into insignificance.

Go for it and enjoy it.

On second thoughts, cancell the order and wait for the Turbo S with it's 550 BHP [:)]
