Sports Chrono Pack

Hi all, me again asking for opinions on what to look out for when buying a 997 S Gen 1

Is the sports chrono pack something to have or is it just a gimmick?

What else is a must?

Nothing is a gimmick
This is a porsche [:D]

I have had it last 3 yrs and the sport mode is a hoot !!!

ORIGINAL: skendrick

What else is a must?
Engine, wheels, seats...sorry![;)]

I had sports exhaust on mine - a good option. Also short shifter. Other than that I would say go for as late a car as you can afford and with a good service record. There are plenty to choose from.

I had the sports chrono pack retro fitted to mine, you don't get the clock/laptimer but you get the bit that matters most. I have just the C2 with PDK and I think its well worth it.

Gen1, not worth it unless Turbo.
Gen2, not worth it unless PDK.

I've had it retrofitted too, changes the whole car in conjunction with PDK. On a manual, I wouldn't have bothered.
