Sports Design Split rims - replacement bolts

Hi,

I have a 99 C4 with 18" Sports Design rims.

I'm getting them refurbished in 2 weeks or so, but I am thinking of replacing all the bolts (80).

Does anyone know where I can get replacement bolts for them - and what size they are?

I *think* they are M7x24.5mm - and I can get them from here http://www.justmatz.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=BBSLMs80Bolts

But does anyone know the size of these bolts ? I checked with a few of the usuals, but they dont sell them and generally only use them if they get ones that break when they are refubing wheels..

As I'm in Ireland, sending the wheels to the UK for 2-3 weeks is not a runner due to shipping costs and turnaround. I'm happy with the shop that is going to do the work for me, but perhaps I'm beign ultra cautious about getting spare bolts.

Any thoughts ??

Alan

I spoke with a wheel refurb company last week, as i have set to refurb, they said bolts are £1.00 each - not nornally anyhting worng with them as they are stainless steel.

I've managed to confirm they are the correct bolts - and to be honest, I'm just going to buy a whole new set as the cost isnt that great..

my concern was what if a bolt broke and the car was in Ireland...

anyway, thanks for the feedback but its all academic now.

They are titanium, not Stainless.
Normally, they are fine, and come up well with a buff with a Scotchbrite pad...but they can break getting them out.
I've re-furbished several sets of BBS wheels with them, and invariably break at least one per wheel.
