Hi everyone,

could people recomend an after market exhaust for my C4S? I'm looking at SCART but would like some feedback on other brands, cost, performance increase etc.

thank you

Terence.

hi Terence
i don't know what part of the country you are in but I see Cridfords a good independent in Ewehurst Surrey are currently advertising gen1 replacement exhaust with sports model available - no affiliation with myself but ask for Jack

Recently had this done at Cridfords and I’m over the moon with it. Excellent service and was done in a day.

Highly recomended.

Hi

Can anyone recommend the best place to purchase porsche twin chrome tail pipes for my C4S 2010, also is it straightforward to replace or would i need to take to a garage?

Many Thanks

Andy

Yep, Jacks the man at Cridfords in Ewhurst. They fitted a Dansk sports system on my C4S, but I had to shell out a bit more to get the stainless tailpipes, but it makes a nice sound and I like the stainless exhaust boxes up in the rear wings, I just wish they could be a little more on show.

Hi

Many thanks for the info do you mind giving me an idea of cost, looks great ?

Kind Regards

Andy

Cost? OK, sitting down?
Dansk supersound stainless steel silencers £800
Pair Dansk stainless tailpipes £200
Sundry bolts and clamps £89.42
Labour £270
Now I just know everybody going to say Pedros Porsche place in Plonkville does them for 500 quid, but I do know it was a fair bit cheaper than the main dealer, and they sound very tasty especially when you it a bit of welly.

Hi

Thanks for update, daft question I still have warranty on my 911 as its an exhaust upgrade there is obviously a saving going to a third party supplier which makes sense, would that invalidate my warranty so I suppose my question is do i need to go a main dealer for certification etc

Looks great btw and i bet there sound is fab !

Any non OPC parts will mean the car will not be able to renew warranty policy. The policy states that any damage attributable to the fitting of a non Porsche part will not be covered under the warranty. So it doesn’t say fitting non Porsche parts during the warranty will automatically void the policy but renewal will not be possible without taking parts off prior to the warranty inspection. Then any claim will need to be not attributable to the aftermarket part you have fitted.
