Sports Mufflers for my 3.2

Bought my 89 3.2 coupe sport a coupe of months ago and really loving it.

I'd like to spend loads on minor mods but just haven't the spare cash. Some of you made suggestions about re-maps, exhausts and so on when I first bought it but cash restrictions have held me back.

For the time being I am going to have to settle for a K&N filter, a live re-map by Wayne Schofield of Chip Wizards and some sports mufflers to improve the sound (sounds good as standard but I swapped my 993 with 100 cell sports cats and Dansk sports mufflers for the 3.2 and that sounded awesome, the 3.2 sounds good.) I know I won't get the full benefit from the re-map without a full exhaust but the money that costs is not an option at present.

I understand that my car has a part Dansk exhaust anyway (not the down pipes, not the mufflers but the bit in the middle). I was thinking of perhaps putting on a Dansk Sports Muffler (if they make one for the 3.2). Has anyone any experience of these? Do they sound good (by good, I do like quite loud, really rorty sound).

Would anyone suggest any other sports mufflers for a better (louder,. rorty etc) sound?

Thanks for your advice which is always very welcome.

Hi Lee
You wont go wrong with Wayne he is a top guy and knows his stuff - I have a B&B exhaust and am really pleased.
There are often exhausts forsale S/H and this can save you a few quid keep an eye on fleabay or in the classifieds of PP
Good luck with the car!

Cheers

Hi Lee, i just went through a similar process of searching for an exhaust. I read tons of posts and watched soundclips etc on you tube.

ive gone for a system by turbo thomas, which is being made now for me [:)] Do a search on you tube for it or head over to the impact bumpers forum to see the threads on there regarding exhausts.
