Sports Pack Option 014 - 1998 Carrera

Just been checking through all of the options on my car, of which 014 - Sports Pack and 030 are fitted. According to the Sports Pack details 18" Technology Wheels were part of that package of which these have been removed - pity.
Checking several wheels sets on the various links they seem to be wider than the original handbook sizes for the front ? The handbook says 7.5 x 18 F and 10 x 18 R; however most sets seem to be either 8 x 18 or 8.5 x18 for the fronts.
Any advice please as I would like the car to be original as possible and fit the wheels that should have been on there as part of the sports pack.

Sorry but cant help you with your prob but having just bought a '99 C4 I'm interested to know how you go about finding out the exact spec of the car and in particular what options have been fitted when new. Will PCGB help?
