My trusty and very nice sounding Listritz '2.4' 3 outlet silencer is about done for after 18 years of use....Found a few pin holes and it was getting a bit loud for the hillclimbs @ 108 dB.
Do they still make these? The factory in Germany make tube manipulation machines/parts now.
I think this one came from the first Husband Crawley autojumble I ever attended, maybe Transend.

I do not want to fit a standard 911 twin inlet silencer (too quiet) so what options can you suggest please?

I have just had one made by Autofarm. It was a Dansk stainless steel double inlet/single outlet, modified iwth 2 extra central outlets with removable caps. Contact Jack Phillips at Autofarm for details

Thanks Nick.
Will call Jack. Also found a twin outlet at Transend for 280 +vat, but the box must be neibough and motorsport friendly!

With the two centre outlets plugged the Autofarm silencer is slightly noisier than standard as they change the internal baffles slightly. The Transend one maybe the same as one that I bought years ago from Mittel, judging by the weight it has very little inside it. I have just fitted it to a 3.2 short sroke, it is certainly not quiet, but it would be easy enought to attach aftermarket can type silencers on the outlets.

That is what i feared with the Transend one, too loud generally.
I cap myine at present and i guess the level is about 97dB, but opened (all 3 uncapped) the level is 108dB, right on the legal limit for a hillclimb car...
Sure sounds good open and the 3.2 revs much freer as a result.
I'm sure I've read an article in Porsche Post maybe about someone doing this as a mod?
