Sports steering wheel

I just have noticed on my certificate of authenticity that my '86 LUX left the factory with a sports steering wheel; which it doesn't seem to be wearing now. (It has the bog standard Porsche wheel as fitteed in everything) Can anyone enlighten me as to what this wheel might look like by any chance? I would like to try and put the right one back on if possible.

I think you'll find that is just what they call the bog standard wheel, the only other wheels I know of are the earlier 2 and 3 spoke wheels found on the 924 and the much later club sport on the 968. (+ the airbag option)

I don't think I've ever seen another factory fit steering wheel other than the lozenge. Maybe the run out S2 SE had the 3 spoke CS/968 wheel?

I must confess that I did wonder about this. It's just that it was mentioned as an extra that made me think maybe they were referring to something more exotic than the lozenge!

I know what you mean, ABS came as standard on the S2 but is still listed as an option on my service book.

I have a three spoke wheel looks like a 968 one, no airbag, looks original leather all the same colour etc. I think my car was one of the last S2. Does not show up on the certificate as an option so always assumed it was original.
