Thursday morning on B4058 (Nymphsfieldroad in Gloucestershire) - speed yellow RS CS? About 8.20am, I was travelling away from Nymphsfield in my orange GT3.

Anybody know anything, as I've not seen the car before?

Yes it was me!!!! Its a 993 that was built from new by DP Motorsport in Germany I was just getting the oil warm .prior to dipping it.Its a very interesting machine. I have just spoken by E Mail to its original owner who is looking for a magazine artcle that was written on it in Germany.

Sounds interesting!

Is it a different car to the one that was advertised on PH?

I know the one above is not a narrow bodied CS, but also speed yellow with a DP connection?

(In the ad above, it states 390bhp.......that is certainly impressive for a normally aspirated car with a standard airbox and induction system!)

Ted

welcome aboard. Where are you based? I'm in Nailsworth (hence where we passed).

Looks like an interesting car.

Sorry. Yes it is. I know its not a FACTORY BUILT car but a car built up from a new 993 by DP Motorsoprt for one of the Kremer brothers. I was lucky as i I know the second owner as I have supplied him with photographs( I own a photo archive) and he was able to fill me in so to speak.Although its a bit of a special its an interesting thing. And NO its not giving 390BHP. The dyno sheet i have says 298BHP at rear wheels.

Ted

unfortunately not able to make CC. As Mike Cooper suggested, we should have a Glos meet - how about a run up to Bibury or the like over Bank Holiday weekend?

Looks an interesting spec Ted, the 295bhp makes more sense for an n.a. engine as far as longevity is concerned. Have fun with it.

There seems to be a Piston Heads meeting at the AV8 Cafe on Kemble Airfield on the sun 26th Morning how about that ????

Sorry forget that !!!! Theres an Airshow at Kemble that day .The trouble with Bibury is the lack of parking and all the Japanese tourists!!!!!! Any ideas?????

If we went reasonably early Bibury would be OK. Toursist do not normally show until lunchtime. Coffee at the Swan at 10 on the 26th?

Sounds grrrreat!

Mike, suggest we meet at the old petrol station on the Ciren road outside Frampton Mansell.

Ted, we can meet up in Morrisons carpark in the centre of Nailsworth if that suits?

Say 8.45 in Nailsworth and 9 at Frampton?
