spray paint..how much????

Hi all

Finally getting round to touch up the few chips on the bumpers and as mentioned in previous posts popped down to the local halfords for some guards red (code 027). They don't stock it but have an instore mixing service. For an off the shelf colour they charge £4.99 for a 300ml tin with a buy 2 get one free offer which doesn't include a special mix for which they charge £9.99. When matey tried the mix he discovered that it includes several grams of lead which they are not allowed to mix in store for safety reasons. Fair enough,he got on the phone to order it ready mixed which could be here tommorow for £14.99 for each 300ml tin!!
I know that it still very cheap compared to paying someone to do it but £15 for each can of paint seems rather steep to me and was wondering if anyone knew anywhere else to buy the paint or any other suggestions?

Cheers

Dave

Still sounds cheap to me.....i have been to pro paint shops who will mix up aerosols, but charge around £20-25 per can...

Dave,

I have a feeling this is a daft question - but how much do OPCs charge for a spraycan???

Regards

Dave

PS Mine is an MG colour so it's down the Rover dealership for a £6.99 can.
