Spring clean...

I've just spent 3 hours cleaning my car - I hadn't realised how dirty it had got until I started [&o] Scrubbing caked on brake dust from all the nooks and crannys on a D90 can really be a drag [] (by the way, I can recommend non-stick pan scourers for this job - just don't let SWMBO find out!) Anyway, to mark the occasion, I've posted some pics in the gallery, linked here for your convenience. Please excuse the poor quality photos!

Enough! I haven't got time to clean either of my cars, please stop making me look bad...:ROFLMAO:

I don't know, on Monday morning I had road grime on my door cards...

To be fair I did clean that off ASAP.

I know what you mean i only managed my 4th coat of Zymol today....[:)] Its sooo smooth i have added 5mph to the top speed.

It was easy; you could maybe try driving on the motorway with your windows open the next time it rains heavily to get a similar effect. I was following a certain Mr Cannell, but I don't think that was pivotal to the success of getting road much down the door trims.

Yeah, your's was sickeningly shiny in the rain on Tuesday as well.

Zymol, in this weather???? You having a heatwave up there? [;)]

I thought you were supposed to apply it only when the temp is over 16 degrees [:D]

I normally put one coat on sometime in April and then another in September before it gets too cold - brrrrr

That looks well glossy. V. nice. How long will it stay like that?
My wife always laughs at me after spending hours cleaning the car, firstly because it will rain as soon as I'm finished, secondly at my tantrum when the next time I drive it, it gets dirt on it. Sad, but true.
Also Fen, the next day after driving semi-topless I found a dead fly on the passenger seat, obviously quite upsetting. Where as, a bit of water in the car, well thats the first step to cleaning it, job half done really.

Probably not long, and never long enough... [&o] I know what you mean though, I'll be avoiding wet weather for a few weeks now. [:D]

Sorry about that, Fen !

If it's any consolation, I only got round to cleaning the 2 944's and the Range rover today. No one mention polish. Took long enough to steam clean !!
