Hands up those who went top-down driving this weekend? I did, in London... temperature was around 12C and mostly cloudless [8D]
Below was taken yesterday just after sunset in NW London

[With hand up]

Me, round town in Edinburgh (sadly couldn't find a plausible enough excuse for a run down the coast) with temp about 10 or 11 degrees.

Can't go top-down driving anymore, but saw lots of people doing it around the Cotswolds today. [:)]

Yep it was a glorious weekend in NW London and topless motoring was back on the menu at long last after 4 wet weekends

Roll on summer 08 [8D]

Top-down (the car, that is) around the Cambridgeshire lanes this afternoon - sheer pleasure!

Me too - in sunny Northumberland. Just about warm enough to risk lowering the top without fear of damaging the rear window.

Played golf in north Notts.(lost on the 18th) then drove home top down in my 3.4S, followed by my brother in my old Speed Yellow 3.2 S. Why do people have hardtops on Boxsters? ps I have been a member for almost 7 seven years!

Both hands up (as I had top down on Saturday and Sunday)!

Went to the Canterbury farmers market on Saturday - needed a few carrots and a loaf of bread. Not much of a shopping trip I know. It is however a 40 mile round trip [8D].

On Sunday, a super coastal run. Clocked up over 100 miles in total [:)].

I can not take my top off any more [:(]

But it looks a though you have at least one compensation... [;)]

I did think that myself... marlin ask if anyone wants to swap with you.. [;)]

I went from a Cab to a Coupe last year and luckily with the naff weather we had last year it made it a little bit easier..

100 miles over Dartmoor with a couple of stops to take some photos. Top on and off. Fantastic !!

OK I will come clean, its not that bad. I do miss the Boxster on sunny days they are one of the most underrated cars ever! Pound for pound they can not be beaten for driving pleasure. [:)]

Why do people have hardtops on Boxsters?

Because it's their choice? [8D]

I have one because from Monday to Friday from about November to February it's cold dark and invariably wet when I drive my car to work. Once again when driving home in the evening from Monday to Friday from about November to February it's cold dark and invariably wet. [&:]

I don't tend to see too many cabriolets of any marque being driven roof down during these periods. [:)]

If we get balmy winter weather these days I tend to hop on a bike - much more fun! [:D]

Bike = Another type of hardtop = Less fun than wind in the hair [8D]

It's hard to get a Boxster to lean as far!
