SPS Cylinder head

New member
As a new member I have only just joined the forum recently,I,ve recently bought a 1989 944S2 and Like most members I,am looking for a bit more performance and have been reading threads about the SPS Cylinder head upgrade for the S2 as this seems the best modification for my car for road use. Could anybody post information on where I can get the web page or contact number of the company that supplies this upgrade as the threads do not give this info and as yet I cannot locate them. Thanks Colin

SPS=Simon Peckham Services(?). Simon posts on here as SimonP so you can reach him by email that way.

Further to this thread, be sure to check the condition of your anti roll bar bushes. The only time I ever spun a 944 was when the connecting piece at one end of my anti roll bar had snapped! I drove the car for a couple of weeks whilst trying to source the parts and spun it three times in the 2 weeks! Previous to that I've held 944's at litterally 40 something degrees on tight (low speed) bends with the front of the car seemingly directly pointing at the side of the road / track without any feeling that it was trying to spin me. I love the way 944's drive if well maintained it should be a very forgiving car to drive.

ps I would highly recommend SPS for both quality and service. (except he never gave me the engine build pics I asked for[;)]...)

Regards,

Ben
