Spyder roof tensioner problem

I had the misfortune of snapping the nylon lug at the end of the red roof tensioner handle that locates it in place when tensioned, the piece that is at the opposite end to the pull lever on the handle, its secured with two small bolts. The worst bit is that it flew out and onto a piece of rough long grass ie never to be seen again. Been in touch with Porsche and guess what, they do not supply the lug seperatly, its a complete new handle job at £168. What i've got left is about 2/3 of it, got access to a milling machine so i can remake one but i need some very kind soul to take a couple of pics showing the shape of it.
Cheers Phil

If no one else comes up before tomorrow i will go and take a couple of pics .
What is the spec of yours ? and welcome to the Spyders web .

Thanks Brian really appreciate that. Its so annoying I suspect it broke as it was several below 0c at the time. The fact its not available seperately is poor on Porsche's part but not surprising

Spec 2010
Carrara White
Spyder wheels
Buckets
PSE
PCM
PDK/paddles

Apologies, I was going to do this for you but ended up working very late.

I'll try and remember tonight if nobody else beats me to it.

I sent over some pics to Phil but did not clearly show the correct bit . I tried again too dark in my garage despite the flash By all means you try it .I said i would try again in the morning so no problem if he gets more pictures .

Thanks Brian, will see what the lighting is like when I get home which is still 2 hours away!

Not sure if these will be any good but here goes. If you can be slightly more specific in terms of what you need to see I can try again tomorrow.

At the end it is 19mm wide which looks consistent from where it appears beyond red handle. It is 25 mm long from where it becomes visible from handle. At the end it is rounded and therefore a half circle with 9mm diameter. Highest height from front of hook recess to bottom is 15mm

The hole for bar to locate into is 8mm wide.

Hope that helps. Could probably remove it and copy in plasticine if that would help but might be a ball ache!!

Thanks to all who have helped, the photos plus measurements are brill. I have ordered some nylon and hope to make it up next week.

Cheers Phil
