Hi guys ..
I replaced my rear brake disks and pads on my 996 C4 2002... Pagid disks and EBC Ultimax pads.. I seem to be getting alot of sqeak.. any advive on how to remedy it?

I have also bought some Pagid anto sqeak stuff which I haven't tried yet.. does this work? Am giessing it goes on the back of the pads and not on the friction side.?

assistance appreciated.. Ta

When do you get the noise? As you apply them, while braking, or with foot off the pedal? Did you fit new anti-squeal pads?

Not sur what the anti-squeak stuff does as I've never used it, but I can't imagine it goes on the friction side.

Are you sure you want those pads regardless?

Almost sure its the pads, try Textar or Pagid standard with anti squeal pads

The Ceratec lube goes on the back of the pad! (Their version of copperease)

I was getting the squeak when it was just rolling and got louder as it got hotter. I clean all the bits, applied the gel on the back and the it reduced. It went away totally after I replaced the from disks and pads.

My independent told me that Pagids squeak a lot and they have stopped using them and use Textar instead. I pt brembo pds on from and no issues with squeaks..

I have always used coper grease inthe past but I thought this might be better. Apparently it picks up less dirt.
