Squeak from RSR

I upgraded to a set of RSR's from Gert about two weeks ago. Loving the new sound but it's coincided with a new, persistent and highly irritating squeak. Sounds like it's coming from rear right and the only thing that's changed is the new exhaust so I guess the noise is coming from there...

I didn't fit it (got the local garage to fit according to instructions in Tech Articles). However should they have used any grease/lube anywhere (ie on heatshields clamp etc)?

Many thanks in adance

I put RSRs on myself a few months back. I would check that the strap that goes round the boxes is tight and located properly (it hooks onto the inner bodywork). You should be able to replicate the squeak by getting under the back of the car & giving the system a good wobble. Doubt the clamps/joins are the origin. Is anything touching the exhaust? Loose heat shields are very common (I had to buy new ones from Gert and bumper stays, as all were rusted right through). Loose heat shields would cause a little knock when going over bumps, or at least they did on my car. Hope this helps. [;)]
