Squeaky Air Con Pump Help please

My AC pump has developed a squeak, I'm presuming its a bearing of some sort, the AC has never actually worked all the time I've owned the car. I have looked at Ollie's great strip down link https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=708550 but my question, is there a quick fix for the squeak or is it a removal and replacement/service job? if it is where might I get the service parts from? I'm not bothered about the AC not working at the moment I would just like to get rid of the squeak for the time being. Anyone any ideas please.
 
There are no quick fixes for an AC compressor - you have to take it off to do anything worthwhile. These guys can help https://griffiths.com or these guys http://www.acsource.com. You can get an AC delete bracket that let you remove the compressor and relocate the alternator. I see references at Lindsey Racing and Rennlist websites.
 
Mine doesn't have a.c., so not sure if the a.c. Pump shares a belt with anything else, but if not, just take the belt off for now.
 
I took mine off, the bracket off a non a.c. car works just fine with the appropriate belt a couple of longer bolts. I left the a.c. lines in place bagged up and secured so they did not flap around. The compressor is a heavy bit of kit.
