Squeaky carbon ceramics

I did the Evo track session last Friday night at Bedford and the car was fantastic around the track.

I noticed afterwards and still however that the brakes sqeak at very low speeds, so coming down from say 10 mph to 1/2 mph such as lights or junctions/speed bumps.

I have cleaned the car well since, washed out the wheels and brakes and dried them off but they still squeak.

Any thoughts from amongst the forum here as to why?

Mine squeek when wet or just after a car wash.

They can also squeek at low speed/light braking when cold.

Mine squeek as well mostly on low speed braking. When I talked to the OPC Hatfield about it they said some cars do it more than others but since the squeeking is inconsistent and a lot of times non-existent I am not bothered as the braking pressure and force seems to be the same.

I had a similar experience after a track day with ceramics, turned out the pads were a bit glazed. They were then removed and de-glazed with some light emery paper work, and this seemed to solve the problem.
Might be worth a try if you want to be bothered taking them out, probably wouldn't be a bad idea anyway just for a check over.
