the only common problem i know of is the old "parcel shelf rattle "one!! otherwise you are wise to get it checked out

Came back from down south the other day and noticed a squealing sound from the rear, perhaps right when slowly moving along - crawling pace. The sound goes once you get a move on but it has got me worried. It doesnt sound as though it is metallic but more of a rubber sound ?

Spoke to Zentrum in Nottingham and they are going to have a look for me in the morning.

Anyone able to shed any light on what it could be ?

Chris

Sounds a bit like when a (small) stone got embedded in one of the vents in my right rear disc. Half way between a squeak a squeal which was much less noticeable when moving at over 20mph but very noticeable below. Took the OPC ages to find the problem because it was stuck on the inside face so the disc had to come off. Wrecked the pads, but thankfully the disc was OK. No idea how it got in there though!!!! Thanks for the replies gents, very much appreciated. I took the car along to James @ Zentrum. He took the rear wheel off and removed a small piece of metal of all things. Top bloke that he is and didnt charge me a single penny !!! Sometimes you have really good days and meet people who make things all seem worthwhile. So thanks to him and I shall most definitely be using him again for any future services etc etc. Chris
