Squeaky sunroof

Hi folks
My sunroof has decided that it will give a good rendition of nails down a blackboard every time I have used it after the winter.[&:]
Before I start smearing vaseline over every moving part or spraying gallons of WD40 everywhere, I just thought I'd see if anyone else has had this problem and if the solution was perhaps the appliance of less liberal doses somewhere specific - any ideas or advice very welcome before I resort to AML (Application of Mass Lubrication)!![:D]
Thanks
Rob

I think your on the right lines there Rob, however I'd look at a Silicone rubber treatment rather than WD or the likes, I'd also heavily clean the seals and fitting lines prior.
It may just be badly fitting seal... but....[&:]

Hi Gary
It's the opening and closing bit that produces the ear splitting screech, rather than the seals - good point about the the silicone spray - hadn't thought of that!
Cheers
Rob
