I have been experiencing a squeaking noise from the front of my 4S which I have discovered is now coming from both left and right.
I have had this annoying noise for a few days and at first I thought it was only on the offside front but today with the top down I could hear 2 squeaks independent of one another.
It's not the noise that is normally associated with the lower control arm worn bushes, which I have had before on a previous car which was more of a creaking noise. This is a high-pitched squeal type squeaking as the wheels revolve. If I yank the steering over to the right the noise lessens and if I yank to the left there is an audible change in the pitch and if I apply the brake the noise ceases but returns again after I release the brakes. Anyone got any clues? Wheel bearings?
