The announcement of next years event has been posted on the Members only section - just wanted to make sure that anyone amongst the 944 posse who are also club members have seen it.

Geoff's events are always superbly organised and a great day out - can thoroughly recommend the Rally to anyone thinking of going but who has never done so before. Would be great to see a big 944 turnout. [:)]

St. George Rally Basic Information
This is a non competitive road rally. There is no timing element. The idea is to take you, by the way interesting Cotswold roads, to a place where you can enjoy your day.

Children and dogs are both allowed and encouraged. This is a family day out.

There needs to be at least two people in the car so that one can read the tulip maps.

Start point and timeThe starting point is Club Headquarters,
Cornbury House, Cotswold Business Village, Moreton in Marsh GL56 0JQ.

Club Office will be open from 9am and a fast food outlet will be in the car park.
Tea and coffee will be available free of charge to eventers.

Driver briefing and departure.After a Driver Briefing (one of several during the morning) the first cars will leave at 9:30am. There is no order of leaving, you do so at your leisure but Cornbury House will close at 11am.
Drivers will be issued with a Rally Plate, this is also their entry ticket into Blenheim Palace grounds. Tulip Route Maps and a commemorative windscreen sticker.
The route will be over approximately 60 miles of Cotswold roads of varying types. The route is suitable for all Porsche cars and you need no special vehicle preparation.


On receipt of you application you will receive an acceptance notification with your "˜Driver Number'.

The quick answer is READ PORSCHE POST. But providing you don't tell anyone... It's the first Sunday after St.Georges Day 27th April 2014.
