Stainless Creations, Falkirk - opinions?

Has anybody used Stainless Creations in Falkirk for exhaust work? Their promotional stuff says that they do a lot of work on 968s?

Just looking for any opinions, or if anyone here has even come across them before.

A nice bunch to meet though I've only ever collected some of Charles's race tyres from there. Never actually had any dealings with them otherwise, but I know Charles has. I believe they made his exhaust.

I was wondering whether the Maritime Blue 968 on their website might have been yours!

Nope, that's Charles's. You can tell by the German number plate and the dodgy clear indicators! [][][]

They made and fitted a centre section of exhaust for my 944. No probs, and great care was taken.

Alistair and Graydon do all the work on my 968. Exhaust and big brake conversion. Re-indexing of torsion bars for coil over M030.

Highly recommended for all work. The only thing a bit dodgy are some of the models they use!

Brilliant, so if I decide to go the custom exhaust route instead of a Dansk then these guys can do the job.

I need a new back box and have been recommended the Dansk by almost everybody I speak to "¦ but Andy at Promax has since been talking me out of it. Apparently the final section before the tip of a Dansk is a bit too slim and causes whistling at high revs? He's recommending Janspeed instead, but it's a fair bit more expensive.

Another vote for Stainless Creations.

They re-worked a poorly manufactured tail pipe on the new off-side box I had bought elsewhere for my 993 last year. Despite the pipe being cut, re-profiled and re-welded you can't tell by looking at it that it has ever been worked on, excellent job.

My son has also had a bit of work done on his exhaust and had tyres fitted by them (through Black Circles) and again an excellent service and price.

I had an exhaust from the middle to the back built at Stainless Creations yesterday and they did a great job. Really nice guys, know their stuff, happy to explain things to me as they went along.

I'm very happy with the results and pleased to see how much other stuff they can do for a 944 as well "¦ the box full of KW V3 suspension parts looked very tempting, as did the Polyflex bushes sitting out on display. Nice to know that there's someone within an hour's drive who can do suspension work on a 944 with some confidence.
