Stainless exhausts and track day noise limits

Trigger's broom is on top form at the moment, all the spaghetti going from front to rear (water, aircon and some bake pipes) has been changed in the last year. I think the next bit of work that will need doing is the exhausts and I would like to be prepared for this. Is there anyone who has fitted stainless exhausts and headers (manifolds) where the noise is no more than standard - I am thinking particularly about noise limits on track days and do not want to turn up and be turned away. Neither do I want a more noisy car which I am trying to drive most days, summer and winter.
