Stainless Steel Exhaust

I have a sports one supplied and fitted by Andy Moss at Honiton.
It's as noisy as you want it to be....

(Sometimes in a tunnel it's very hard not to be a hooligan.....

The ESS backboxes are good for an off-the-shelf stock replacement. Quite cheap with a nice juicy tailpipe (either 6"x9" oval or twin 3" rounds). They are not any noisier than stock.

I got an ESS back box (twin 3" pipes) and de-cat pipe. It is louder than standard but not intrusive unless you use the loud pedal[;)] I personally like it and combined with Promax stage 1 kit is certainly more responsive..........

My old car had the twin pipe and decat section - a bit more purposeful than standard. As a shameless plug - the exhaust is now for sale (see parts for sale thread).

I've just recently fitted a Dansk stainless steel exhaust & Janspeed decat section from Promax & I'm very pleased with it. The fit & finish of the Dansk system is excellent, it's no noisier than standard at idle, but has a nice 'throaty' tone when driven hard. The decat seems to have improved performance a little too. Heartily recommended for the older enthusiast (like me), who's looking for something a bit more subtle.

Cheers,
Robbo

I've got a Hayward & Scott Oval tail pipe (forget size) back box and Decat it's not too loud when just cruising or at idle but when driven hard it sounds excellent particularly through the many tunnels near where a few of my mates live.

Who makes that one Nick?

A rattling baffle in mine is really getting on my nerves at the moment so a new exhaust could be pushed near the front of my 'to do' list.

I think that is made by "RPM Porsche", sure Nick will be along soon to let you know.

Lee, that is indeed the one made by RPM - fits onto a 3" system in my case.

That is now the only silencing box on my car (although the turbo does help) so is quite loud, but with a primary box as well, I would think it could be sporty yet civilised.
