STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST

Hi Guys, looking for some advice.
I own an 1989 3.2 Carrera with a standard exhaust which is a little past its best so am looking for a quality replacement.
I want to retain the single tail pipe and although I would not mind a sportier tone I do not want anything too intrusive for longer journeys.
I would welcome any suggestions.
Cheers Simon.

Is it advisable to change heat exchangers at the same time

Hi
When i had a 3.2 Carrera which was a few years ago now. I changed
the back box in stainless with a dansk which sounded a bit sportier but
nothing to intrusive from euro car parts.

Hi,
I think it depends how long you intend keeping your car. My 88 Targa had some standard Dansk replacement stainless parts fitted 300 miles before I purchased it, heat exchanges were a mess, so as I intend keeping it long term, I stripped out the whole system and replaced it with the SSI style Dansk one. Looks fantasic, not that loud. Lots of work, but I enjoyed the challenge, some oil lines came with the system, but I changed the others. Expensive, but done now for the life of the car!!

Still have the pre-silencer and cross over pipes in stainless going very cheap?
