Stalled at the last

Hmm pulled into my garage after a 150 miles of motorway driving today (had a full tank), everything normal on the gauges, stall the car (or so I think) pulling into garage, I re-start stall again twice and notice that the bingo light is on for fuel BUT the fuel gauge says 1/4 tank....Anyone had this little issue before?

C2 or C4? My money's on C4.

I haven't heard of the problem you have experienced, but the saddle tank used in the C4 has some quirks. Below 19 litres (IIRC) it calculates the fuel level reading for the gauge. I would try putting at least 20 litres in the tank, and see if it sorts itself out.
 
I'd also be concerned as to why the car stalled three times in quick succession, unless you had a "senior moment" with the clutch?
