Stamford Car Show - Sunday August 28th. 2011

Hi Everyone,

This is a really good car show to attend. The venue is located on the Meadows alongside the river in Stamford.
About 450 cars attend from all marques.
We attended last year and had a great time. Linking up with region 4.

Robin, do we have to book or can we just show up on the day? i'm finding it difficult to commit to events at the moment due to family problems.

have printed off a application form, it asks if i am attending as part of a group/club. is PCGB going as a car club ?
 

Hi Helen,

It is better to book. Makes life easier when you arrive. There is no fee to attend. The organisers ask for donations on the day for charity.
I have left a post for Richard, RO region 4, to see whether they are attending as a group again.
However there is plenty of space for us to park up together, displaying a number of Porsche's as a group.

If the weather is kind, a spitfire fly's over near the end of the day.

It really is a nice day out.
