Standard suspension or PASM

were I to order one, and I nearly did, before my livelyhoood became less certain, I would definately order the PASM. It has gotten a good write up on the 997
I also would go for the sport/Chrono package in order to get the enhanced throttle response, but makes more sense on the S, I guess.

I ordered it, cancelled it, ordered it and then finally cancelled it again.

True for the track great...but the road..in my opinion no.

£1030 which will not be reflected in the 2nd hand value.

Judging by early test reports so far you have made the right decision and I am in your camp on this one.

Thanks Mark - Does that mean it's like that Citroen that used to lean into the corners? or is it that you can alter the stiffness etc from inside the car

It's a stiffness thing[:D]

There is a button to stiffen it all up when on track, or on decent roads (i.e. Germany[;)])

The "Sports Chrono Package" comes into its own with PASM, controlling the suspension and throttle mapping "more aggressively", making a more involving and sharper reacting car.
Alegedly... We need someone to drive it to confirm all this, rather than just reading and regurgitating the marketing blurb...
