standard suspension replace MO30

Hi need advice:

I want to make suspension softer on my Boxster currently fitted with M030 as roads too rough around my area. Would be ideal for somewhere like Milton Keynes but not London and I have done the trackday thing.

What is the cheapest option:

  • Can you replace MO30 springs with standards and leave the M030 shocks in place ? Will this work or would you suggest the whole unit (springs + shock).
  • What is the standard specification spring/ shock part numbers and do they have to be matched all round (colour coded etc).
  • Cheapest place to get all - I note that new sports suspension kits (shock + spring) seem to be cheaper than new originals.
Any advice much appreciated.

Regards

I'd say springs and shocks.

Don't forget the anti-rollbars are different too.

I'd say you need to consider replacing the lot - the springs/dampers/antirollbars are all tuned to work together.
