standard turbo rear spoiler onto C4S

I should be collecting my C4S on saturday and already I cant resist tinkering with it a little. I really love the standard turbo spoiler but to be honest cant afford the turbo. So is it possible to retro fit the standard turbo spoiler to the c4s without losing the 4s full length reflector as I dont want to lose any of the original decals etc.. also does the turbo spolier speed activated or is it solid?

as the whole engine cover needs to be changed and as the red strip is attached to the c4s engine cover then yes it will be gone , but i don't think its that easy, as the panel below the rear screen is different as well so i've read , the spolier goes up at speed but dont think thats a simple plugin job either there are some nice fixed spoilers for the c4s about your better off trying to find one of them you like Rob

just saw your forum name , got it now you miss your corrado[:)] , i still miss mine as well but mine was a valver not a G60 [link=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/carpy25/corradons-1.jpg]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v462/carpy25/corradons-1.jpg[/link] Rob

The Turbo spoiler is hydraulically powered whereas the Carrera spoiler is electrically powered. It's probably a bit of a non-starter to be honest although anything is possible if you want to throw cash at it. That said if you were in this position, I presume you'd have bought the turbo in the first place.

I have a gt2 look spoiler fitted to my c4s you just unbolt the popup spoiler and bolt this one in it's place ,This mean's you retain the reflector. I got it from design911.co.uk. I was realy happy with the quality of the spoiler and the body shop which painted it for me agreed that it was of high quality. The spoiler is made by misha in america.

Hi, Keep it stock, however if you are taken with it always consider the front splitter as changing the rear spolier needs to be balanced with the front. I would say the Misha spoiler is the one and I think they also do a front splitter to balance things. Alan

thanks for the info guys. To be honest I am all for keeping things stock but just wondered if the turbo spoiler was an easy fit as I think it is fairly subtle and just adds to the rear end look of the 911. But I wouldnt fit it at the price of losing the 4s reflector so I guess its a no go. to CARPY - the wife's corrado was a valver too (ver boring) but my favourite car was the g60 which was actually a Rallye http://img30.imageshack.us/i/scan0001hc.jpg/

nice rallye , that looks like queing the get in to TRL at crowthorn the old GTI international venue many years ago Rob

that was actually in the show and shine but yes it was at TRL (the best venue) probably year 2001.

well picked up my C4s on Saturday and I have decided it looks perfect just as it is in standard form and wouldnt change a thing on it. Getting the illegal dark tints removed tomorrow and then it will be 100%

heres a couple of quick shots taken with the BB, I had it washed which didnt last a day so its pretty dirty in the pic. Going for a proper valet on Firday inside and out.

I must admit arctic silver looks great as it shows up the aggressive vents on the bumpers but I just fell in love with the black and I dont seem to see as many in black. Speed yellow is hot too but I suppose not many people went for that colour and the ones that did are probably keeping hold of them.

I have a black 4s standard no gimmicks. It's a great look, great decision, buy best of show swisswax you won't be disappointed

Another plus for Black C4S [:D], enjoy...... 6 years on & I'm still smiling......

Mine never fails to get positive comments at Club events.....
