Starter motor failure!

Very reliable as you would expect, earth straps and dme relay are slightly worse.
Hopefully you will be back on the road quickly - assume it is the starter and not one of the other things mentioned. Would suggest getting one that is not repaired/remanufactured - the cost saving is minimal and a new one gives some comfort of mind.

I've taken off the leads and cleaned them up in case it was just bad connections due to corrosion but that hasn't made any difference.

Just picked it up,maybe there was a signal that the old motor was on its way out just didn't realise it,the old motor in comparison to the new one was 4 times slower in turning...the new one sounds much quicker first time i turned it made me jump slightly..!,happy days[]
Sounds good []. How much to get it all done?
