As above really, looking for a hotel or similair, but has to have decent parking! Doesn't have to be in the centre just in general area. Any hints/tips greatly appreciated.

Avoid Ramada Jarvis in city centre at all costs.

Try Holiday Inn Bridge of Don - nice rooms, plenty of parking - dining room poor so don't eat there - about 7 miles up Peterhead Road is the Cock and Bull fabulous food and nice environment.

thanks for the tips i'll get a chance to look at them tomorrow when i start my rest days![:D]
ps shogun, i am "sandy's boy"[;)]

Thanks for the help[;)] Trying to get something in aberdeen on tuesday12th (hopefully not worried about parking if opc will take the car in early) but struggling as everythings booked up[] Own fault really, doh!

Where did you get into?

Was going recomend a few places.....until I got to the end of the thread....

only place i could get into was gordons hotel at altens. Tried nearly 30 different hotels/b&b's but all were full up.[]

Cars great, couldn't fault it (touches wood so nothing goes wrong now i've given it the kiss of death!) Only problem i had was battery being a bit dodgy but a ctek charger sorted that and recovered the battery[;)] Just got the usual service in aberdeen, plus the added soreness of getting the plugs done. Not reached 24k yet but car will be 4 year old next month so better to get them done. Owned porsches for last 30 months now but due to various reasons this is the first one i've needed a service on so new experience for me, hope all goes well!
Unfortunatley i'm a shift worker and play with a pipeband so i struggle to make any of the dates that the region have so haven't got to play around as much as i'd like. I live in hope though, cheers scott.[:D]

For the future, I can fully recommend the **** & Bull at Balmedie.[;)] Also Cafe Kintore in Kintore if your nearer that side of Aberdeen but usually you have to book a bit in advance for there. Both have good food, Kintore is better but you do have to bring your own wine with you.

for future reference don't go to gordons! lasted 30 mins before checking out and heading to perth earlier than planned.
